Zeni - Salgareda - Via Roma

clicca per ingrandire l'immagineAgainst the left wall of the church (in cornu Evangelii) inside the niche of a side altar, the organ stands out for its novel appearance, the articulation of its face: the structure, timbre, blend of sound and technical solutions of this instrument are influenced by 19th century French models by Cavaillé-Coll and Puget.
The organ was built by Andrea Zeni of Tesero (TN) in 1999 to commemorate the one hundredth anniversary of the death of Cavaillé-Coll and is the first of its kind in Italy.
